Nominations now open for 2022 Top 100 Movers & Shakers

January 3, 2022 by Cherryh Cansler — Editor, FastCasual.com

January is a time for goal setting and self-reflection, but it's also the first step in a long process of building our annual Fast Casual Top 100 Movers & Shakers. For nearly 20 years, we've been honoring the industry's most innovative, creative and successful concepts, and this year will be no different.

How it works
Brands will nominate themselves by answering a few questions about their businesses in order to help our panel of judges narrow down the list to 75 brands. The second set of questions will ask people to nominate the executives they believe best represent the industry. People may nominate themselves or their colleagues. Judges will choose their favorite 25 to round out the list of 100.

The more information the better, so I always recommend that brands answer the questions thoroughly and send a few photos as well.

We'll announce the winners at our invite-only awards gala from 6 to 9 p.m., May 22 at the LondonHouse in Chicago coinciding with the NRA show. Although COVID-19 has forced us to host the awards virtually for the past two years, we are looking forward to getting back to our annual tradition of toasting our winners in person over cocktails and dinner. All winners will receive two invitations to the gala featuring a ceremony that will finally reveal the specific order of the Top 100. (It will stay a secret until the event.)

Lastly, each winner will appear in our annual Top 100 report, which will publish May 23.

Nominate your brand here. Nominations close on Jan. 31.
