What is a food truck?

A food truck is a vehicle that has a kitchen and a staff that prepares and sells food to customers for immediate consumption. These mobile kitchens include both trucks and trailers, the latter of which require another vehicle to pull them.

Food trucks and trailers are part of the “street food” scene that also includes food carts and pop-up tents.
