Abu Dhabi food festival to feature food trucks

The Abu Dhabi Food Festival 2017 begins today with the Truckers Carnival, featuring 10 food trucks that change on a weekly basis, according to The National. 

"The event will resemble American funfairs that were popular in the 1960s and 1970s — a mix of sounds, colors, fun play and street food," Alexandre Teodoresco, founder of Truckers. "A luminarium, which is a strong 'edutainment' component, gives the event a particularly family-friendly quality."

Truckers Carnival will run from Dec. 7 to Dec. 23 in the car park opposite Marina Mall.
