African food truck debuts in Lexington, Kentucky

An African food truck has made a home in Lexington, Kentucky, in a parking lot off Leestown Road.

The Miss Milolo Cuisine will be serving its fare Wednesdays through Saturdays, according to a Spectrum News 1 report.

It's owned and operated by Sandra Diba, who was born in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and who moved to the U.S. at the age of 14.

"We were refugees, and that's how we came to America, with my family in 2008 for better opportunities," Diba told the news outlet.
