Alabama food truck shows appreciation for those on COVID-19 frontline

April 10, 2020

The Aces food truck, in Tuscaloosa, Alabama recently served up free meals to first responders and healthcare workers as a way to thank them for their efforts in responding and caring for COVID-19 patients.

The event, organized by former Alabama running back Bo Scarbrough, was all about thanking those on the frontline of the pandemic, according to a WVUA 23 report.

"We thought that we could help a lot of people by giving them free food because we know they're not, some of their jobs not in, some of the schools not in, and some kids that have kids that go to daycare, they have to sit at home," Scarbrough told the news outlet.
