Alabama town mayor calls for input from food trucks

Mayor Ronnie Marks of Athens, Alabama, said Wednesday he hasn't seen much interest in food trucks from potential vendors, so he has asked food truck owners to contact him in the next 30 to 60 days if they are interested in having the city address rules for food trucks, according to The News Courier.

The mayor said he will require that trucks do not attempt to hurt business at existing restaurants by locating too closely to those establishments.
