Alaska home to food truck park

A food truck park will open this spring in Ketchikan, Alaska.
The park, called Dock Street Yard, is owned by Amber Adama who landed in Alaska in the summer of 2019 with the idea of launching a restaurant and then decided to open a food truck.
One top challenge she found was finding a location to park in one place all day, according to a KRBD report. Then Adama found a downtown lot and started thinking about establishing a food truck park.
She aims to have room for three trucks as well as a seating area.
"We're going to put the three rental spots down here. It'll be a small lot, hopefully cute, nice fencing, nice lighting — just a nice, fun place for people to come and eat. And then, at the top, our ultimate goal is we'll be putting in our own cafe up there," she told the news outlet.
