American West museum to present 'Chuck Wagons: The First Food Trucks'

The Autry Museum of the American West is presenting "Autry Flavors – Chuck Wagons: The First Food Trucks" on Friday Jan. 26 at 7 p.m. at The Autry in Griffith Park in Los Angeles, the museum announced. Attendees will be offered food of the Western trail and traditional chuck wagon cuisine, along with new fusion as contemporary chefs update the menu with Pacific flare.

The program will include presentations by chefs and food history experts, and attendees will have access to galleries and be served food from multiple food stations.

Admission is $55 for members and $65 for non-members. Reservations are recommended.
