Food trucks to accompany concerts in Connecticut

The third annual Downtown Sounds Summer Concerts & Food Trucks will be held at Veterans Memorial Park in downtown Shelton, Connecticut on Fridays July 21, July 28 and August 4 from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m., according to The Shelton Herald. The event is sponsored by Celebrate Shelton and Liberty Bank.

The concerts are free to attend, but $5 contributions are suggested. A portion of the proceeds will be donated this year to the Lower Naugatuck Valley Boys & Girls Club in Shelton.

The event will include food trucks, live music, handmade artisans and a beer garden sponsored by New Belgium, said Nicole Heriot-Mikula, Celebrate Shelton's founder.

Food trucks will include Fryborg, Sal's Pizza Truck, Pierogies on Wheels, Rita's Italian Ice, Shoreline Prime Meats & Deli, Dad's Food Truck and Tipsy Cones.
