A bill to reduce food truck regulations has been approved by a state House of Representatives panel and now faces a full House vote, according to The Arizona Republic.
State Rep. Kevin Payne, R-Peoria, has proposed a law to reduce local government regulations for food trucks. Payne's proposal, House Bill 2371, would prevent city and county rules that limit where food trucks can park and what hours they can serve customers.
Payne, who owns a food truck, said state legislature attorneys determined it was not a conflict of interest for him to sponsor HB 2371.
