Arkansas city passes law to create food truck court

The Batesville, Arkansas city council approved an ordinance to establish a food truck court, according to KAIT.

Mayor Rick Elumbaugh said several food truck owners have sought a permanent location in the city instead of having to move around every 90 days.

He said oftentimes food trucks expand into a storefronts, which the city would encourage.

Different commercial zones are being considered for the food court.
