Arkansas town to have a food court truck

Van Buren, Arkansas will have a food truck court known as Phillips Landing on Main Street at its intersection with Ninth and Webster streets on a site that formerly housed Sharon's Dog Grooming at 900 Main St. and a two-story house at Ninth and Webster, according to The Times Record.

The house was removed Wednesday while the dog grooming building site was cleaned earlier in the week.

Jim Petty, a local businessman who is developing the project, said the food truck court will add additional eating options and drive more traffic to downtown. The food truck court will include pads for five to six trucks with electricity, water and sewer, Petty said.
