Army foodservice specialist launches food truck to provide jobs for veterans

Michael Gropper, a former foodservice specialist in the U.S. Army, has launched a food truck in Aurora, Colorado, that provides jobs for fellow army veterans, according to a WSCS-TV report.

Gropper works with Culinary Arts Boot Camp for Veterans, a non-profit organization, provides free culinary training to veterans who are homeless or in transition.

Gropper said he was motivated to provide the jobs after seeing other veterans struggling. The food truck, Full Battle Rattle Deli, provides Brooklyn, New York style sandwiches.
