Hanif Davis, owner and operator of the Hadez Food Truck in New Jersey, got three months of training for his role as a food truck owner on the art of barbecue.

Davis, who works full time for the army, is now creating his own special blend of BBQ soul food, according to a Best of New Jersey report.

His truck, which launched four years ago, offers everything from BBQ brisket to brisket tacos, oxtail tacos and even tacos with mac and cheese.

"Brisket is detailed in its smoking," he told the news outlet. "I enjoy it. It's a lot of fun. Smoking brisket is different. I take my time on it. It's like building art."

Once he retires from the Army he plans to run the food truck full time and is looking to launch a touring gourmet bus.
