Asian, Mexican fare dominate Nashville's top 5 food trucks

Nashville may be associated with American country music, but when it comes to food trucks, the city favors Asian and Mexican fare.

The top five food trucks ranked by Hoodline, which bases its rankings on Yelp reviews and its own "secret sauce," included three Mexican and two Asian menus, according to an msn.com report.

Bang Bang Hibachi Grill & Sushi, at 3720 Dickerson Pike in Bellshire Estates, serving sushi and hibachi, grabbed top honors with 4.5 stars out of 40 Yelp reviews.

Five Points Tacos, at 1101 Woodland St. in Lockeland Springs, came in second with 4.5 stars out of 37 Yelp reviews, offering tacos and more.

Taqueria El Dolar, at 3500 Nolensvillle Pike in Glenclilff, specializing in Mexican fare, came in third with 4.5 stars out of 39 reviews.

Vietnamese food truck Banh Mi & Roll Factory, at 1008 Fatherland St. in East End, came in fourth place with 4.5 stars out of 22 Yelp reviews. 

Tacos Lopez, 5414 Nolensville Pike in Southwood, came in fifth place with four stars out of 23 Yelp reviews. featuring tacos and more.
