Australia town approves food trucks to boost business activity

December 13, 2017

The council for Subiaco, a suburb of Perth, Australia, has granted approval for food trucks, a tavern and a café at the corner of Hay and Olive Streets to boost local business activity, according to communitynews.com.au.

The tavern has a capacity for 430 patrons, the café 125 patrons, and the food trucks 150 patrons, with all operating seven days a week.

Kathy Bonus, director of community and development services, said council research has indicated there will be sufficient parking, and that food trucks will play a significant role in developing the local business culture.
