The Albury, Australia, city council has granted the SS&A Club, an entertainment venue, permission to host a food truck festival in its car park from Feb. 1 to April 30, next year after the club had previously dropped plans for a festival between Christmas and New Year’s Day, according to The Border Mail.
The council also granted the club permission to create a temporary outdoor food and beverage area for a 6-month period beginning Dec. 1 when the club renovates its kitchen.
The Albury approval comes less than a week after lawmakers in Moira Shire voted to deny the return of a food truck festival in Yarrawonga for the summer holidays and other peak tourist periods.
