CFS Brands acquires AyrKing

Oklahoma City-based CFS Brands has completed the acquisition of AyrKing, a food preparation equipment company. Founded in 1972 and headquartered in Louisville, AyrKing supplies automated breading, blending/sifting and commercial marinating equipment to several major quick-serve restaurants, convenience stores and grocery chains. It also produces food blenders, mixers, drive-thru windows, ice baths and work tables.

"AyrKing is a leader in food preparation equipment and is led by an outstanding management team with a reputation for innovation," Trent Freiberg, president and CEO of CFS Brands, said in a company press release. "The addition of AyrKing to CFS Brands will further strengthen our ability to provide inventive, customer-centric solutions to the foodservice market."

AyrKing will remain as a standalone entity within CFS Brands. For the foreseeable future, both customers and suppliers will continue to interact with AyrKing as they have in the past, AyrKing President Jim Bell said in the release.

"AyrKing can now expand its reach and its capabilities to better serve our existing customers, while continuing to pursue new opportunities.Together, we'll be able to deliver more profit-enhancing results for our customers than ever before."

CFS Brands is a U.S.-based manufacturer of products for the foodservice, healthcare and janitorial markets. It operates Carlisle FoodService Products, Dinex, El Castor, Jofel, Piper, San Jamar, Snap Drape and Sparta globally. It employs over 1,400 people across its headquarters, seven manufacturing locations and eight distribution centers worldwide.
