A pair of food truck operators have filed suit against Baltimore, Maryland over a law prohibiting food trucks from operating within 300 feet of a brick-and-mortar business that sells similar food, according to WBFF-TV.
Joey Vanoni, who operates a pizza truck, said the law discriminates against him and limits his ability to operate.
Some restaurant operators, however, said they want a level playing field and they want trucks to pay real estate taxes as do restaurants.
A circuit judge will decide on Wednesday whether to allow the case to go to trial.
