Beeconz introduces app for finding mobile locations

Beeconz is debuting a patent-pending location-based app to help users find a mobile business location, such as a food truck, according to a press release.

The app can pinpoint the exact location of a business, mobile service, event or group. Users input a customizable, six-digit code, and the location and directions are given with immediate updates to change of location. A map also shows nearby businesses and events.

"Beeconz was conceived while looking for a food truck, but it was developed to help individuals find anyone or anything," Charles Owens, founder of Beeconz, said in the release.

Mobile businesses can use the app to share location and promote products or events. The code can be customized to reflect a person, event or business, and a photo can be attached which will show up on the map. The app also allows individuals and businesses to lease and personalize a Beeconz code for long-term use.

Businesses and organizations can link their social media page or website to Beeconz so that interested parties can view more information such as menus and invitations.
