Bethesda food truck finds home in mall food court

The Malia's Kitchen food truck, well known in Montgomery County, Maryland now boasts a brick-and-mortar presence in the Westfield Montgomery Mall in Bethesda.
The soul food eatery opened in early September and features the food truck's soul food menu including crab mac and cheese and collard greens, according to a Bethesda Magazine report.

The food truck was launched in 2017 by owner Adonis Adams.

"Westfield Montgomery embraces the diversity of our community and is proud to have retailers that cater to and represent a wide variety of cultures and backgrounds," Zenia Davis, marketing director of Westfield Montgomery, told the news outlet. "We are so excited to have Malia's Kitchen be a part of our story at the center, it is a wonderful addition to our dining terrace and offers amazing local cuisine that reflects the vibrant diversity of our guests."
