Bistro Planet launches crowdfunding to support turnkey food truck technology platform

Bistro Planet — a technology company seeking to make the mobile food marketplace more efficient for food truck owners and customers — is partnering with SeedInvest, an equity crowdfunding company, to launch an equity crowdfunding campaign to enhance its technology platform, according to a press release.

Bistro Planet co-founder and CEO Roie Edery said investing in Bistro Planet is a way for investors to support local business owners, as the vast majority of food trucks are owned and operated by local entrepreneurs.

Bistro Planet's turnkey technology platform includes:

• A vending lot and event booking portal that matches food truck owners with commercial landlords at the most profitable locations.
• A food truck point-of-sale system for sales tracking, supply planning, payment processing, geomapping, data analytics and marketing.
• A mobile consumer app that helps customers locate nearby trucks, browse menus, order, pre-pay and avoid waiting in line.
