Boise food truck park struggles to find food trucks

State St. Food Truck Lot recently opened in June 2025 in Boise, Idaho. However, it is now struggling to find food trucks and is currently empty, according to a report by Yahoo! News.

The lot is still seeking tenants, owner Suzanne Hanrahan said in the report.

She said that, "Most trucks are booked for the summer and I am wanting to find trucks that will commit to a month versus a day or two."

Doug Halloway, director of Boise Parks and Recreation, said the space could be used for fundraisers and food trucks could cater at the event.

Hanrahan said she hopes business will pick up in the fall.

The other food truck park in Boise is Green Acres Food Truck Park, which is open for business.
