Bon Appetit names Portland food trailer to its top 10 new restaurants

Matt's BBQ Tacos, a food trailer in Portland, Oregon, has been named by Bon Appetit as one of the top 10 new restaurants of the year.

Chef/owner, Matt Vicedomini opened his Texas BBQ trailer in the parking lot of a pawnshop. He has since opened two additional spots. Vicedomini smokes his brisket over oak for up to 12 hours. The smoked meats come with scrambled eggs, potatoes and salsa on flour tortillas made with rendered lard.

Matt's BBQ Tacos was the only mobile kitchen in the top 10 new restaurants.
