In the last two years, the Bronx Night Market, which features local food trucks in the Bronx borough of New York City, has expanded from an irregular summer event to regular events throughout the year, according to a New York Times report.
This year the market was held almost weekly from May through October. A holiday market is planned for Dec. 20-22 while a beer event is being planned for the spring.
Over the summer nearly 7,000 people visited the market every Saturday night that it took place. At least four vendors have opened brick-and-mortar stores.
