Brooklyn food hall to feature Texas food truck-style cuisine

November 27, 2018

The owners of Hill Country Barbecue Market, a Texas-style BBQ restaurant in Brooklyn, have revamped the location as a food hall and renamed it Hill Country Food Park. The venue will feature six culinary concepts borrowed from the food truck scene in Austin, Texas, according to a report by AM New York.

Marc and Kristen Glosserman, owners of Hill Country Hospitality, decided to launch the park as a way to attract customers during daytime hours. Menu offerings will include breakfast tacos, pizza, burgers, salads and more.

"This is going to be a bit of a laboratory for us from a menu development standpoint," Marc Glosserman said in the report. "There may be things we do here that may find their way onto menus at our other restaurants."

The location will include:

  • South Congress, featuring coffee, breakfast tacos and donuts.
  • Nickie's, featuring tamales, tacos, nachos, burgers and loaded hot dogs.
  • Austino's, a pizza stall featuring smoked meats.
  • Bluebonnets, featuring salads and vegetarian options.
  • Hill Country Chicken, featuring chicken tenders, chicken sandwiches, and chicken and waffles.
  • Hill Country Barbeque Market, featuring signature smoked brisket, baby back ribs, sausages and house-smoked chicken wings.
