Burglars target Austin food trucks

Austin police are searching for two men that have burglarized around 40 to 50 food trucks since April and are asking the community for help, according to a KXAN-TV report.

The men reportedly target clusters of food trucks in downtown Austin and the area north of U.S. Highway 183, as well as food truck parks, police said.

Losses are estimated in several thousands of dollars including the theft of tablets, money boxes and tip jars.

Police have released clips of surveillance footage showing the men breaking into businesses and stealing money.
