California city council mulling food truck license

The Lancaster City Council, in California, is meeting this week to vote on a proposal that would require food truck operators to attain a business license.

The ordinance would also include sidewalk vendors and is now at the second stage of official approval, according to an Antelope Valley Press report.

The regulation would also set operating and local rules, such as requiring a county health permit for food operations.
