California festival to feature food trucks

The inaugural Alameda Harvest Celebration will be held from noon to 9 p.m. Oct. 26 and 27, around Almanac and Admiral Maltings at 651 W. Tower Ave., the grounds of the former Alameda Naval Air Station on Alameda island, California, according to The Mercury News.

The event, a fundraiser for the Alameda Point Collaborative, is hosted by Almanac Beer Co. and Admiral Maltings and will feature foods and beverages from Alameda-based companies, including food trucks. Admission is free.
