California town launches pilot food truck program

Manteca, California's food truck pilot program, which requires a $10 daily permit to park a truck at a city-sponsored location, is already attracting large crowds, according to a KXTV-TV report. A recent event at Library Park included six food trucks, live entertainment, a beer garden and games.

Chris McConnell, owner of Concierge Culture, a food truck scheduling business, manages the program along with the city.
