Lawmakers in Gatineau, Quebec, Canada, want the city to consider a pilot plan for food trucks, according to msn.com.
Jean-François LeBlanc, councilor for Lac-Beauchamp in Gatineau, said he wants to present the idea to the city council next month.
Cédric Tessier, councilor for the Hull-Wright district in Gatineau, thinks it would be a good idea but wants all stakeholders to be part of the discussion.
Éric Gaudreault, owner of Le Troquet bistro and a member of the Gatineau bar and restaurant owners association, said food trucks could work with proper restrictions.
