Canadian food truck deploys remote-control trucks for delivery

A food truck in Canada is delivering orders via remote-controlled monster trucks to customers waiting for food at nearby tables.

The East Coast Donair, in Saint John, New Brunswick, is tapping the unique approach as part of social distancing during the ongoing pandemic, according to a CNN report at Denver Channel.

"Seeing the excitement on the kids' faces is pretty cool," food truck owner Shawn Thorne told news outlet. "It kind of makes you be a kid yourself and remember those times. You can't help but smile."
