Holy Cow, a food truck that serves food at no charge to the needy, is expanding its service range to Maggie Valley in North Carolina. The food truck currently serves 500 people weekly at lunch and dinner, according to a report by ABC 13 News.
"I'm in a position where I can impact a hundred or more people every day with just being able to cook with these two hands. And I go home at night feeling fulfilled. Love coming to work every day," Neil Ravenna, executive chef with Haywood Pathways, the operator of Holy Cow, told the news outlet.
Some of the truck's goods are provided by MANNA Foodbank and Publix including meat, produce and dry goods.
