Charlotte food truck is all about fusing a range of cuisines

Come month's end foodies in Charlotte, North Carolina will enjoy a food truck offering a wide range of cuisines across five menu options.

The food truck, called G.R.I.T.S CLT (which stands for Girls Raised In The South) offers African, Creole, Spanish, Southern and Caribbean fare, according to a Charlotte Observer report.

"Each menu has that cuisine from that part of the world, and we just fuse it," Chef and Owner Jorieka Downey told the news outlet. "It's really just a fusion of all of those flavors I like."

Customers can mix and match cuisines when ordering, for example choosing a Southern side while having an African entrée.
