The Food Truck Boot Camp is coming to Cherokee, North Carolina from Nov. 17 to 20. The event will provide training for people looking to get started in the food truck industry, according to a report by Smoky Mountain News.

The Center for Environmental Farming Systems, Empowering Mountain Food Systems and the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians Division of Commerce are collaborating to host the event. It will provide instruction on food safety, food tuck layouts, menus and more.

"It's a good idea to go to Food Truck Boot Camp because you learn a lot," Monique "Nikki" Crisp, owner of Nikki's Frybread food truck, said in the release. "You learn about the business part of it, the networking, safety, branding — even learning how to cook a little and meet new people. It is in your best interest to go and experience it; you won't be sorry."

Some of the topics including financial planning, enterprise budgeting, fire prevention, marketing strategies, recipe development and more.
