Chicago area high school culinary students study food trucks

December 7, 2018

A culinary class at a Chicago area high school has incorporated food trucks into its curriculum, according to the Chicago Tribune. Culinary students at Carl Sandburg High School in Orland Park, Illinois, will create a food truck concept in the semester's final exam, according to teachers. Students will also cook and serve menu items. The class will then vote on a winner.

Two Joey's Red Hots food trucks recently visited the class to educate students about food trucks and to help inspire them to come up with their own ideas for the exam.
