Chicago fare lands in Sioux Falls

Chicago natives DaShawn and Samantha Lewis are bringing their hometown fare to the city of Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

The 33-year-olds have launched the Windy City Bites food truck and its menu boasts lots of Chicago foodie favorites including a Chicago calzone, taffy grapes (dipped in almond bark and honey-roasted) and even pizza puffs, according to a Sioux Falls Argus Leader report.

"I lived in the kitchen most of my life," DaShawn told the news outlet. "I wanted to do something in Sioux Falls that reminds me of home."

Windy City Bites also offers up feature authentic Jamaican items such as jerk chicken tacos.
