April 7, 2020

A Chicago restaurant owner has started up a food truck to help feed first responders helping battle the coronavirus pandemic.

Phil Stefani, who has had to shut 10 of his food venues, said he is launching the Flamingo truck, which will offer homemade pizza, hot dogs and tacos, because it's time to give back, according to a Chicago Sun Times report.

The truck will focus on feeding healthcare and first responder workers at hospitals, firehouses and police precincts.
