Chicago office building showcases vintage 1955 Ford food truck

A custom-built, vintage food truck called "The Canteen" is slated for installation in the main lobby of a downtown Chicago office building at 300 South Wacker, according to a press release.

The owners of the property commissioned Jeff Doombos of American Glory, a Chicago based food truck builder, to refurbish a vintage 1955 Ford Kurbside bread truck, which will serve meals and other items to customers in the lobby of the high-end location.

Chicago-based Fooda will leverage the vintage truck as a kiosk for vendors. This is the first time the company will use a permanent indoor food truck.
