Chicago suburb considers pilot food truck zone

August 9, 2019

Lawmakers in East Dundee, Illinois, a Chicago suburb, are considering a pilot food truck zone in front of the Depot, at 319 N. River St., according to a Courier-News report. If approved, food trucks would be open from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays and 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sundays. The pilot zone would continue through the end of the year.

The plan was drafted after the owners of a brewery, Black & Gray Brewing at 311 Barrington Ave., requested allowing food trucks for their customers.
