Lawmakers in East Dundee, Illinois, a Chicago suburb, have decided to extend a pilot food truck program for another year to allow for expanded evaluation, according to a Chicago Tribune report.
The trustees approved a pilot food truck zone, in August, in front of the Depot at 319 N. River St. where trucks can operate from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sundays.
Only two food trucks have operated out of the pilot zone.
