Chicago suburb to allow food trucks outside of brewery

Long Grove, Illinois, a Chicago suburb, has decided to allow food trucks to operate outside of Buffalo Creek Brewing, according to the Daily Herald. The brewery, which doesn’t have a kitchen, has had pop-up operations serving food.

Food trucks must be registered with the village and associated with a specific venue, and must also pay sales taxes. The village will decide whether to allow food trucks to operate at additional venues after evaluating the brewery program.
