The Choco Taco, a long time treat popular with food trucks and retailers, has met its demise.

Unilever, parent company of Klondike, which manufactures the product, said in a statement sent to The Washington Post that the company has had to make some tough decisions to ensure the availability of its full portfolio.

A tweet in reply to a customer said the company is working to find a way to bring the treat back to ice cream trucks in the coming years.

According to an eater.com article, Alan Drazen, a Philadelphia ice cream truck driver, developed the Choco Taco in 1983 while working as a Jack & Jill employee. Drazen later became a Philadelphia vending operator.
