The Rainier City Council, in Longview, Washington, now has a food truck regulation on the books as well as food truck permit fees.

It took nearly a year for the ordinance to be created and adopted, according to a report in The Daily News.

There is a first year fee of $400 for food truck operators and that fee will drop to $125 in subsequent renewals. Trucks need a special permit if they are going to sell from more than one location. The truck must also offer a hand washing station on site or within five minutes of walking distance, according to the report.
