Culinary variety is what food trucks are known for, and, in Cleveland, they do it in spades.
The top five food trucks rated by Hoodline feature a wide variety of cuisine, ranging from Southern to Polish sausage to bratwurst and more, according to msn.com. Hoodline bases its ratings on Yelp reviews and is own "secret sauce."
In Cleveland, the East Side of the Cuyahoga River has long been known for having the best fine dining restaurants. But when it comes to food trucks, the West Side wins hands down. Four of the five top food trucks are on the West Side while the fifth is downtown.
First place honors goes to Hatfield's Goode Grub, at 16700 Lorain Ave. in Kamm's Corners on the West Side, specializing in Southern cuisine, boasting 4.5 stars out of 117 Yelp reviews.
Runner up is Seti's Polish Boys, at West 4242 Lorain Ave. in the historic Ohio City neighborhood on the near West Side, grabbing 4.5 stars out of 32 Yelp reviews, offering sausages, hot dogs, fries and more,.
Frank's Bratwurst, at the West Side Market, West 25th and Lorain Avenue in Ohio City, came in third with 4.5 stars out of 30 Yelp reviews, offering brats and sandwiches.
Smooth Rider Smoothies, also in Ohio City at 1983 W. 28th St., came in fourth with 4.5 stars out of 16 Yelp reviews, offering, smoothies, juices, coffee and tea.
Off The GRIDdle, located at downtown Public Square, came in fifth with 4.5 stars out of 12 Yelp reviews, offering chicken, sausage and cheese steak sandwiches, plus tacos, fries and more.
