The Rush Coffee, a woman-owned coffee truck company in California, has a new franchisee in the North San Diego market.

"After five years of a successful and growing business in San Diego, we made the exciting decision to expand our business offering to like-minded folks, serving up the same freedom and fun we've had for the past five years," Claire Oksayan, co-founder of The Rush Coffee, said in a press release when the franchise program opened in late 2021. "We're happy to have our newest franchise partner join us and help deliver happiness in Southern California."

The Rush Coffee franchise opportunity was developed with the partner, and women, in mind.

The newest franchisee feels the same way, according to the release.

"After nine years of raising our two children to school age, it was time for me to find a new opportunity. A fan of The Rush Coffee, it was perfect timing to learn they were franchising," Chari Myers, owner of the North County San Diego territory along the I-15 corridor, said in a press release. "I have always been interested in pursuing entrepreneurship, being my own boss and being in control of my own future. The best thing is that I love coffee, and this business aligns with my values."

The Rush Coffee's first franchise partner, George Hadden, is operating out of Liberty Hill, Texas.

"I made this business decision to partner as a franchisee because of my deep love for coffee and freedom of working where and when I want," Hadden said in the release. "The Rush Coffee has a business model I believe in and know works."
