The Feather River College, in Plumas County, California, now has a resident food truck on campus.

The truck, funded with COVID relief funding, aims to provide students with a different meal option, according to a Plumas News report.

"This food trailer will allow us to distribute food and supplies safely and directly to students, supporting their basic food security needs," FRC President Dr. Kevin Trutna told the news outlet.

It will also serve as an educational training ground for students in the nutrition, food and culinary arts program.

While the truck does not yet have a formal name, so far "Eagles Roost" seems to be gaining in popularity, according to the news outlet. The campus cafeteria is called the Eagles Perch.
