Colorado Springs food truck Tuesdays back in play

While the COVID-19 pandemic cancelled last year's Food Truck Tuesday event in Colorado Springs, organizers said it's back on this month in front of the Colorado Springs Pioneers Museum.

It was first launched in 2019 and proved successful, according to a KRDO report.

"This space has been a community gathering space for 100 years," Diane Stine, with the Colorado Springs Pioneers Museum, told the news outlet. "We checked that we were okay within local and state guidelines, and just wanted to bring it back."

This year over a dozen trucks are participating and will be rotating on a bi-weekly basis. The list includes Wildcard, Lucy I'm Home, The Hot Box and Witty Pork.

Food Truck Tuesdays runs 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. from June 1 to Aug. 31.
