Connecticut resort to host festival featuring food trucks

Powder Ridge Mountain Park & Resort in Middlefield, Connecticut will host its first New England Winter Festival on three December weekends, 13-15, 20-22, and 26-29, featuring entertainment, rides, Santa's workshop and food from food trucks and other businesses, according to a report in The Middletown Press.

Children 10 and under will be admitted free, while adults can pre-purchase for $5 or pay $10 at the gate. Free admission will be available to first responders with proper ID on Dec. 27.
