Connecticut town offers seasonal food truck permits

February 2, 2018

The town of Bethel, Connecticut, will offer 1-year, seasonal food truck permits in 2018, according to the Bethel Patch. The parks and recreation department will offer permits good for May through October for serving food at Meckauer Park at 16 Shelter Rock Road.

The permit allows food trucks to park and sell food during regular park hours from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. There will be a monthly fee of $200 per truck, due on the 15th of the previous month. This fee does not cover the cost of a food license.

All applications must be received by March 2. Food truck owners will be notified by April 2.
